Big Plans!

The Bible teaches in Jeremiah 29:11 that God has big plans for each one of us. That’s pretty incredible isn’t it? He won’t reveal the details of those plans all at one time, but if you have a passion for something such as helping the unfortunate, teaching Sunday school or small group, going to the mission field, etc. you can surely see those things as part of His plan for your life. Begin to hone those areas now! Time’s a wasting!

Minintry of Interruption

Little bit from THE MINISTRY OF INTERRUPTION Bible study...

Don’t even try to be a people pleaser—it is impossible to please everyone.  There will always be some who are only happy with you when they are using you.  God will lead you to the people and situations He wants you to be involved in.  Be willing to be available.  When you see God working, it’s pretty sure that He wants you to be involved in the work as well.  Make the decision to please God before everyone else.

People before things;

People before projects;

Family before friends;

Husband before children;

Husband before parents;

Tithe before wants;

Bible before opinions;

Jesus before all.

Psalm90:17

Before I got out of bed this morning, I prayed a prayer that I haven't prayed in several days. I prayed for God's favor to rest upon me and to establish the work of my hands. (Ps. 90:17) It was no surprise to me that it's now 11:30 and things are going very well. The Word says that if you don't ask, you won't get, so why don't we make the habit of asking? Busyness or laziness or forgetfulness...maybe one of those is the reason.
Our Heavenly Father is waiting to be ask. He waiting to bless His dear children. Asking with His promises in mind brings even more blessings! :)

Seek Him!

"The Lord is good to those whose hope is in Him, to the one who seeks Him. "Lamentations 3:25 This is a promise written long ago, but still relevant today. When we are focusing on Him, He is doing a work in our lives. He has plans for you...BIG plans!

Valentine for you

"The Lord my God is with you, He is mighty to save, He will take great delight in you, He will quiet you with His love. He will rejoice over you with singing." Zephaniah 3:17 Don't you love the fact that God delights in you and that He can quiet you with His love and that He will rejoice over you with singing? Pretty awesome valentine in my opinion!

The Fear Factor

What fears are you facing today? What steps do you need to take in order to find victory over those fears? Defination of fear is...False Evidence Appearing Real. If you fear the Lord, you don't have to be afraid of anything else. Here is some truth from God's Word:
Psalm 46:11..."God is our refuge and strength, an ever present help in trouble."
Psalm 63:7-8..."Because you are my help, I sing in the shadow of Your wings. My soul clings to You ; Your right hand upholds me."
Isaiah 42:16..."I will lead the blind by ways they have not known..."
I pray you (and I) are victorious today!

The Golden Rule—old and new…

The Bible gives us a lot of good advice on having successful relationships. The verse in Matthew that we call the “golden rule” is one great piece of advice: “So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.” (Matthew 7:12)

There is a “golden rule” verse in the Old Testament too. It’s found in Leviticus 19:18—“Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against one of your people, but love your neighbor as yourself. I am the Lord.”

These two verses teach us to treat others as we ourselves would like to be treated. I would guess that each of us would like to be treated as a special person. I certainly would!  How about you?
